November 2009 ClubDistrict Starlet of the Month

Hey Everybody! My names Megan Kliethermes. I was born in Southern California but raised in Viva Las Vegas! I currently live in the High Desert, atleast for now anyways. I can't wait to move to Orange County! Growing up, my parents divorced when I was 3, but it wasn't a problem since I always had double the holidays and double the meals. I'm spoiled! When I lived in Vegas there wasn't ever anything to do, unless you wanted to go outside and melt in the 115 degree heat! So I just chilled indoors with my best friends playing video games just about all day. It's sad, really, I know. I'm a total gamer nerd, but I love it! My all time favorite game so far has to be Counter-Strike Source, I own Noobz! I also love snowboarding; there's just nothing better and I can't wait till the end of November already! When I'm at home I read all the interesting Internet forums like /Space/ and /philosophy/ on 420chan.org. You can also find me lurking on Engadget.com for all the newest crazy technologies. See I told you I was a nerd!

Modeling has always been something I wanted to do. I am an avid reader of Vogue Magazine and Elle Magazine and I just adored how women and men could embody a completly different character than themselves and create such a beautiful image. I am still pretty new to modeling; I've been doing it seriously for about a year now and I love it. I recently signed with my first agency, "Byhower Talent Agency" in LA, and I have been going on castings 4 times a week. My first big gig was for "Guitar Center" earlier this month for their "Give the Passion Gift Guide" catalog coming soon! Also, I was a fit model for "Norma Jeane" clothing company; Fall 09 Look Book for "MYNINJA!" Clothing Company (see it at MyNinjaclothing.com); worked at a booth for the ASIS trade show in Anaheim, and did a 2010 wall calender for "Zero Engineering" (buy it at amazon.com). Yesterday, I did a super fun and creepy vampire shoot at an old abandoned mill. Really! There were spider webs everywhere it was great! My goal in this industry is to change it! I want talented short girls like me to have the chance to do an editorial in Vogue,Elle or Harper's Bazzar. I want to be the first to start that trend! I hope to have long modeling career and move into acting as well. I want to be 70 and still work in this industry such as bladder commercials haha!
