Artist Interviews

Morgan PageLayering memorable pop-driven lyrics over the crisp synths and pounding beats of progressive house, Morgan Page has emerged from under the radar with a unique sound that connects with dance music veterans and newcomers alike. And with one GRAMMY®-nominated song and two IDMA nominations (Best Breakthrough Artist and Best Progressive House/Trance Track) in 2009 alone, Producer, Remixer, and DJ MORGAN PAGE has firmly established himself as one of the top talents of the next generation of dance music producers.

Driven, technically savvy, and down-to-earth, the Burlington, Vermont native was already hooked on electronic music by age 15. His early exposure to the genre started with radio, inspired by the sounds of local college radio station WRUV 90.1 FM. Only a few short years later, Morgan found himself a DJ at that very radio station, hosting a weekly mixshow that brought him into the world of house music and club culture. It was in these humble beginnings that he set his goals, and he set them high.

Morgan's attraction to memorable hooks and energetic beats, and his singled-pointed focus on achieving a high level of technical skill in studio paved the way for his classic bootleg album, Cease and Desist. With no parts or acapellas, Morgan's remixes of hits from Coldplay, Imogen Heap, and David Bowie quickly became an underground hit and brought him into focus as a bright, emerging remixer.

Morgan Page is now a force to be reckoned with - an established triple threat of DJing, remixing, and original production. This hotly sought after producer and remixer – whose recent mixes include tracks for La Roux, Madonna, Katy Perry, The B-52s, and Yoko Ono – has created a signature style that effortlessly blends melody, harmony, and rhythm – bringing songs to new heights, while never forgetting a sense of song.

Morgan’s first official album release, ELEVATE, established him as one of the brightest rising stars in electronic music, garnering him a GRAMMY nomination for the Deadmau5 remix of hit single "The Longest Road", and two International Dance Music Award nominations as "Best Break-Through Artist (Solo)" and "Best Progressive House/Trance Track" for his original version of "The Longest Road.

Morgan's newest single 'Fight for You' made a television debut in October 2009 on a new episode of Melrose Place. Check out 'Fight For You' video below (audio only).
